Apple Fries with Caramel Cream Cheese Dip



  • In a fry pan, heat oil.
  • Mix buttermilk and sugar in a medium bowl. Peel and slice apples, adding them to the buttermilk mixture as you go.
  • Put a layer of flour in a small dish. Coat apple slices.
  • Once the oil is hot, add apple slices careful not to let them touch. When the bottom side is golden, flip and brown the other. Remove and place on a tray lined with paper towels to soak up excess oil. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar while still hot.
  • Mix together cream cheese, cool whip, and caramel sauce. Once completely blended, drizzle extra caramel sauce on top.
